William Ray Krug

	William Ray Billy Krug, 49, of Mt. Vernon, passed away at 6:36 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2000 at St. Marys Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.
	Mr. Krug was employed as a driver for the W.C. Alexander Wholesale Supply Co. in Mt. Vernon.  He was a Christian.  
	Mr. Krug attended Rend Lake College and John A. Logan College.
	He was born June 24, 1951 at Pinckneyville, the son of Howard Edwin Krug and Anna Elizabeth (Rhode) Krug.  He married Kim R. Alexander on July 1, 1983 at Bonnie, IL.
	Surviving are his wife, Kim R. Krug of Mt. Vernon; son, Quinn R. Krug at home; daughter, Rosanna Krug at home; brothers, Howard E. Krug and wife Donna of Titusville, FL and Karl Krug of Pinckneyville; sisters, Mary Loos and husband Donald of Oakdale, Betty Krug of Oakdale, Oma Lee of Oakdale, Shirley Hagene and husband Carl of Oakdale and Anna Eaton of Flower Mound, Texas; an aunt, Vida Headrick and husband Bill of Conant; 18 nieces and nephews and 19 great nieces and nephews.
	He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Phillip Krug and one nephew, Corey Eaton.
	Funeral services were Thursday, June 29 at 1 p.m. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon with Mr. Bill Headrick officiating.  Interment was in Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens.
	Friends were able to call at Hughey Funeral Home from 5 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
	For those who wished, memorials could be made to establish an educational fund for Quinn and Rosanna and were accepted at the funeral home.
